BREAKING NEWS! ZAMBALES AMASSED MEDALS IN THE TESDA REGION 3 SKILLS COMPETITION

The ongoing awarding ceremony this morning in Bulacan of the one-week Regional Skills Competition showed that TESDA Zambales won at least ten medals (unofficial count). Six of the medals: 4 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze are from the competitors and experts of COMTEQ.

For six consecutive times already, COMTEQ has consistently joined and won medals in the TESDA Skills Competition.

Last year, COMTEQ advanced to National Skills Competition and won Bronze medal for IT Network Cabling and Medallion of Excellence in IT Software Solutions for Business.

The Welcome/Opening Ceremony for the competition was held today, June 8, at SM Olongapo Central.

COMTEQ receives commendation from SBMA for the conduct of Basic ICS Training

A few hours ago, our COMTEQ Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee Director, Mr. Edwin Piano Received COMTEQ’s certificate of commendation from the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) for the conduct of Basic Incident Command System Training Course for it’s airport personnel, held just three days ago at the Subic International Airport which encompasses SBMA and our institution’s commitment to safety.

COMTEQ Bags the Over-all Championship of the 2019 Provincial Skills Competition

In the recently held TESDA-ZATVIE Provincial Skills competition, COMTEQ bags again for the 4th consecutive time the over-all championship. COMTEQ has been the Over-all Champion of this competition since 2013.

COMTEQ won Gold and Silver medals in the following categories: Robotics, IT Software Solutions, Network Cabling, Web Design, Visual Graphics, and System Administration.

Our Participants in the Provincial Skills Competition 2019

Participants of the competition includes Gordon College, President Ramon Magsaysay State University, Columban College, BEST Freeport Colleges, Central Luzon College of Science and Technology, Northern Zambales Colleges, Power Skills Zambales, and TESDA PTC-Iba.

The competitions were held at different schools in the Olongapo-Zambales area namely: Best Freeport College located at Matain, Subic; TESDA Povincial Training Center, IBa; COMTEQ Compute and Business College, Olongapo City, with one  area of competition sponsored by Absolute Services, a Freeport Locator.

The TESDA Provincial Skills Competition is held every two years.
